James E. Carpenter, MSN, APRN, FNP-C has worked in the healthcare industry for many years and decided it was time for a change because it didn’t seem to work the way it should. He started his own Direct Primary Care company that allows individuals to work directly with him at any time, providing the best care for his patients. The Health Carpenter offers many services, from Botox and fillers to hormone replacement therapy, to simple health physicals, all customizable to the patient’s wants and needs, with an affordable monthly membership. The membership allows patients to have unlimited visits without copays or having to deal with insurance companies. The Heath Carpenter is located in Orlando, Florida, in the downtown area. James Carpenter’s journey from childhood challenges to founding The Health Carpenter reflects his profound commitment to holistic well-being. Growing up without health insurance, James experienced firsthand the barriers to quality care that many families face. This shaped his mission to create a healthcare model that breaks those barriers—offering accessible, membership-based care that doesn’t rely on insurance. With a background spanning from EMT to Nurse Practitioner, James understands the gaps in traditional healthcare and champions a primary care model centered on holistic health pillars: social connectedness, exercise, nutrition, spirituality, and education. At The Health Carpenter, he integrates these principles into daily practice, blending preventative medicine with aesthetic wellness to elevate both health and confidence. James has a special focus on men’s health and LGBT health, creating a space where all individuals feel seen, supported, and empowered. He is also trained in male enhancement techniques, including the Priapus Shot and Penile Girth Enhancement, underscoring his dedication to comprehensive, personalized care for every body.
Princess Lock, MSN, FNP-BC
Princess Lock, a Board-Certified Family Nurse Practitioner, brings over 20 years of clinical expertise in emergency medicine, women’s health, and integrative wellness. Known for her educational contributions and advanced aesthetic skills, Princess has trained extensively in facial balancing and body contouring. She holds certifications in Bio-identical Hormone Therapy and Peptide Therapy and is a member of the American Academy of Anti-Aging Medicine. Committed to creating a signature look that rejuvenates and refreshes, Princess is a cornerstone of knowledge and skill within the Central Florida community.
Yahdiel Torres, Patient Manager/Esthetician
Yahdiel Torres, a Puerto Rican American born in Chicago and raised in Orlando, brings over six years of healthcare experience to The Health Carpenter. Currently enhancing his expertise at the Aveda Institute in Winter Park, Yahdi is deeply passionate about skincare and patient care. Fluent in both Spanish and English, he enriches the team with his bilingual capabilities and dedication to providing top-notch service. Yahdi enjoys the outdoors, leading a healthy lifestyle, and has been a beloved member of The Health Carpenter team since January 2022.
Luiza Motta, Patient Coordinator
Originally from Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, and raised in the United States, Luiza brings a warm, multicultural perspective and welcoming presence to the clinic. As a Patient Coordinator, she supports patients at the front desk and helps ensure each visit runs smoothly from check-in to follow-up.
Fluent in English, Spanish, and Portuguese, Luiza is able to connect comfortably with a diverse community and provide clear, approachable support throughout the patient experience. She has a strong passion for aesthetics and overall wellness and enjoys being part of a clinic that seamlessly blends beauty with primary care.
Outside of the clinic, Luiza enjoys Pilates and staying active, reflecting her commitment to a healthy, balanced lifestyle—values she brings into her work every day.

Lucinda Mora, Medical Assistants
Lucinda Mora has been a Certified Medical Assistant since 2004 and earned her Basic EMT certification in 2011. A graduate of Career Point Institute in San Antonio, Texas, she brings over two decades of experience across women’s health, neurology, adult and geriatric care, and emergency medicine.
Originally from Colorado, Lucinda is a proud mother of two and deeply values family, connection, and balance principles she carries into her approach to patient care. She is passionate about creating a welcoming, supportive environment where patients feel heard, respected, and at ease, and she takes great pride in helping each patient leave with confidence and a smile. Outside of the clinic, Lucinda enjoys spending time in nature, listening to music, and making memories with her family and beloved pets.
